Brown to face Phan at UFC 133

Officials have confirmed that an intriguing featherweight clash between Mike Brown and Nam Phan has been added to the card at UFC 133.

Rashad Evans' clash with Phil Davis is the main event on the card at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on August 6, but fans are likely to be treated to some solid support action and former WEC champion Brown will come up against Phan - a semi-finalist at The Ultimate Fighter 12.

Brown is looking to get his career back on track, having lost four of his last six fights - including a title loss to Jose Aldo at WEC 44 in 2009. He has not fought since his defeat to Rani Yahya in January having took time off to nurse a hand injury.

The bout will be Phan's first since he was beaten in controversial circumstances by Leonard Garcia in December - a result that received widespread criticism.
