Kieren Fallon will miss the Guineas meeting at Newmarket despite having his suspension reduced.

Fallon was slapped with a ten-day ban after local stewards found him guilty of not riding out to the winning line in a handicap at Kempton on April 13.

The jockey was originally set to be banned from April 27 until May 6 and although Fallon's suspension has been cut to seven days, he will not be available for the Newmarket meeting on April 30.

The result means Fallon will not ride Ed Dunlop's Native Khan, a leading runner in the 2000 Guineas.

"No decision about the jockey will be made until I've had a discussion with the owner about what he wants to do," Dunlop said. "The owner requested Kieren and if we can't have him, then we will find someone else."
