Lewis Hamilton and Daniel Ricciardo will be carrying out demonstration runs ahead of the Indian Grand Prix.

In a bid to increase interest in the inaugural race at the Buddh International Circuit outside New Delhi in October, Hamilton will be demonstrating a McLaren just outside Bangalore on September 27. The run will take place on the NICE road, a toll road which links the cities of Bangalore and Mysore in the Karnataka region.

Following Hamilton's run, on October 1, Daniel Ricciardo will get the opportunity to drive the Red Bull showcar once again when he takes to the streets of New Delhi. The Red Bull demonstration will mark four weeks until the grand prix weekend, and Ricciardo will take to the Rajpath, with India Gate as the backdrop.

Red Bull first took an F1 car to India when David Coulthard carried out a demo run on the Bandra-Worli Sea Link in Mumbai in 2009, while Renault also ran a car on the Rajpath in 2008.
