Lotus team principal Eric Boullier says the team will help Kimi Raikkonen try to "force Sebastian [Vettel] to crack under pressure".

While Vettel comfortably won the Bahrain Grand Prix, Raikkonen rose to second place having started eighth on the grid to ensure that Vettel could only extend his championship lead to ten points. Boullier said Raikkonen will keep the pressure up on Vettel with his consistency and it will be down to Lotus to ensure he has the car to challenge at every circuit.

"He's going to put pressure on Vettel, definitely," Boullier said. "We will give everything to support him to obviously put the right pressure on him and force maybe Sebastian to crack under pressure. With everything he's clearly an incredible finisher and nobody can stop him to get another lot of races finished."

Boullier was also bullish about the development potential of the E21 having seen which updates are in the pipeline.

"I have to thank the guys back in Enstone [headquarters] again because they are doing a great job. I know the figures that are coming for the future so the development of the car is going very well and it's going to be interesting to see and to follow."
