Kimi Raikkonen says he has no doubts over his call to move from Lotus to Ferrari in 2014 despite recent form.

Over the last three races, Lotus has emerged as Red Bull's nearest challenger and is closing in quickly on Ferrari and Mercedes ahead of it in the constructors' championship. Asked how he felt about his decision to switch to Ferrari in 2014, Raikkonen replied: "Good, otherwise I would not have made the decision if I did not think it was right for myself.

"Obviously there are different rules and nobody really knows how it is going to work out next year."

With Lotus just 33 points behind Ferrari, Raikkonen admitted the main aim for the team was to finish second rather than chase individual race victories.

"I guess that's the aim for us, but it's hard to say if it's going to happen. It seems the last races have been strong for our team but I have to get better qualifying results to put myself up there. Maybe we'll try to win some races but it will not be easy."
