Lotus' 18-year-old junior driver Esteban Ocon says he will give "200% dedication" to win in whatever he does in 2015 after being overlooked for the team's reserve driver role.

On Tuesday Lotus confirmed it had signed Jolyon Palmer to the role of reserve driver, a position Ocon had been widely tipped for after winning European Formula 3 last season - beating Toro Rosso rookie Max Verstappen in the process. Ocon took part in FP1 during at the 2014 season finale in Abu Dhabi and the tests the following week but his plans for this season remain unclear.

Almost immediately after Palmer had been confirmed by Lotus for the new season, Ocon tweeted a defiant message to his followers.
