- Second Barcelona Test, Day One
Chilton pleased with Marussia mileage

Max Chilton declared himself pleased with Marussia's lap total on day one of the final test in Barcelona.
Completing his fifth consecutive day in the MR02 as speculation over Luiz Razia's future with the team rumbles on, Chilton set the ninth-fastest time as he completed 78 laps. Though it was the fourth-lowest total of the day, it was actually the most laps Marussia has managed in one day of testing so far this year and Chilton said it had been a positive start to the test.
"It was a little brisk this morning in the car but it was a really good day for us as a team," Chilton said. "We did 78 laps which is the most we've done in this pre-season testing. So it was a really good day and it was nice to get some more experience in the rain.
"It takes you a few laps but it's amazing how much grip they really do have when you get the tyre temps up. We were quite quick on the extremes, took a little while with the inters to get used to it and then we were quick again so it was a really good day."
Chilton said his target for the rest of the test was to complete a race simulation and test out some upgrades.
"We've got plenty more set-up work to do, we've got a new aero package to put on and we'd quite like to do a race run so plenty more to do."
