Interim McLaren Honda breaks cover at Silverstone
The interim McLaren Honda F1 car broke cover during a Silverstone filming day on Friday afternoon.
Oliver Turvey has been driving the MP4-29H development car, which has an updated 2014 chassis designed to maximise the information the team and its new partner can gather from the installation of its new power unit. It means work on the MP4-30, the 2015 car, can continue in isolation ahead of its debut season.
FIA regulations state a filming day is limited to just 100 kilometres of track running and allowed the team to test its new power unit. Honda published the first pictures of the day from its official Twitter account.
