Lewis Hamilton does not believe he has too much to learn from the last three races despite seeing team-mate Nico Rosberg gain a sizeable advantage in the championship fight.

Rosberg has won two of the last three races ahead of Hamilton, while the Brit retired in Montreal and suffered a costly spin during qualifying for the Austrian Grand Prix he later said was down to driver error. In that time Rosberg has moved 29 points clear in the championship battle but Hamilton insists he has done nothing different since Austria.

"There's not really many lessons [to take]," Hamilton said. "It's been three races now, or at least two races, we had a technical problem in Montreal and then at the last race I faced some difficulties on the driving side. Sometimes it goes well and sometimes it doesn't but you just grow and go from strength to strength. We've learnt some things but nothing particularly that we can point out."

After England's exit from the FIFA World Cup and Andy Murray's loss in the quarter finals of Wimbledon, Hamilton was asked if he feels greater pressure to succeed for the British fans but he insists his focus is no different to previous years.

"At the end of the day [the British drivers] are all going to do our utmost to try and represent the country. You don't know how people have developed or improved but for us as a leading team hopefully we will have a good shot this weekend. I will do everything I can to bring at least a little bit of joy to [the fans]."
