Unwell Hamilton ends first day early in Barcelona
Lewis Hamilton's first day of testing in Barcelona has been cut short by illness.
Reigning world champion Hamilton kicked off Mercedes' running on Thursday morning and completed 11 laps early on. However, Mercedes confirmed at 10:45 local time the Brit would not continue the day's running, though it did not go into specifics.
Mercedes junior Pascal Wehrlein, driving a 2014 Force India in the morning, will take over Hamilton's duties in the afternoon. Force India later confirmed Sergio Perez, who was due to start his testing schedule tomorrow, will take over from Wehrlein after lunch.
