Injured Rosberg a doubt for second day of testing
Mercedes may be without Nico Rosberg for the second day of testing in Barcelona as the team waits to see how he recovers overnight from a trapped nerve in his neck.
The start of the Barcelona test was far from ideal for Mercedes, with Lewis Hamilton completing just 11 laps before a fever ended his session. Rosberg was unable to step in for Hamilton due to his neck complaint, meaning Mercedes had to wait until after lunch before reserve driver Pascal Wehrlein finished his schedule with Force India.
The reports of Rosberg's neck injury first appeared in Auto Motor und Sport.
#F1 Mercedes Friday plan: Rosberg to start the day. Hamilton too take over, if Rosbergs neck hurts too much. Fever already getting better.
