Nico Rosberg started the day by setting the fastest lap time and ended it by bringing out the red flags. He talked to ESPNF1's Dan Knutson after the session.

Why did you stop on the track at the end of the session today?
Nico Rosberg:
I ran out of fuel.

What was the Mercedes like in the wet conditions?
The car felt very good. Compared to Valencia, where I was sitting too low and couldn't see where I was going, and where the set-up also was not perfect, today I really felt comfortable. I really felt like I could push and it was really enjoyable. So it was a good step for me.

What are the objectives for the next three days in Jerez?
The objectives are to learn as much as possible. Put miles on the car, the engine and everything to check reliability. And just progress and do some set-up things.

How do you feel racing against Michael Schumacher, especially as your team-mate?
On one side it is exciting because it is great to have him as a team-mate. It will be very interesting. On the other hand, it will be very challenging for sure because he is one of the best of all time.
