Khan camp line up Katsidis clash

Amir Khan is in line to fight Michael Katsidis after the pair recorded impressive wins at the weekend.
Khan sent his stock soaring with an impressive 11th-round stoppage of Paulie Malignaggi in New York, while Katsidis burst the Kevin Mitchell bubble in dominant fashion.
WBA light-welterweight holder Khan spoke of a defence against Marcos Maidana in the aftermath of his win over Malignaggi, but the Argentine is struggling with a back problem and Khan's father has suggested a clash could be set up with Katsidis as early as July.
"If we get the dates we will do it," Shah Khan said. "It is possible. We can get him ready in the short time and then he can have a break after Ramadan. We want him to fight three times a year."
Khan's trainer Freddie Roach has issued a note of caution, suggesting he would prefer more time to prepare for a fight with Katsidis.
"It might be rushing it a little bit for July," he said. "I'd like a little bit longer to get him ready, but he will be okay. If I was getting him ready for a major, major world-title fight then July would be too soon, but we can do it."
