Wakefield ease past Rhinos to go top of Super League

Wakefield Wildcats moved to the top of the Super League after inflicting a second successive defeat on last year's Grand Final winners Leeds Rhinos.
Danny Brough was the hero of their 28-18 victory, scoring one try and kicking six goals in an ill-tempered match which saw Kevin Sinfield yellow carded.
They knocked Warrington Wolves off the top, the Wolves having gone to the summit on Saturday night after beating Castleford Tigers 28-16.
Lee Briers was the inspiration for Warrington, scoring one try and setting up two others in the second half to help his side overturn the lead the Tigers held at the break.
Afterwards, Briers praised his side's new-found defensive resilience. "We like to win like that, it's better than winning 46-36. We don't want to be that side any more," he told Sky Sports.
James Evans was the star for Castleford, scoring two tries in an ultimately futile effort.
Wigan Warriors maintained their unbeaten record with an impressive 32-6 win over Hull Kingston Rovers at the DW Stadium.
The Warriors made a flying start as two tries inside eight minutes from Amos Roberts and Pat Richards knocked the wind from Rovers' sails. Ben Fisher got the visitors back in the match with a try shortly before the interval, but a fortuitous bounce from a kick just after half-time fell the way of Sean O'Laughlin and he went over for his 50th career try to hand Wigan a cushion.
Richards is a key figure for Wigan and he climbed high to collect a lob kick from Sam Tomkins to go over for his second try of the match.
Joel Tomkins and Roberts went over late on to cap the win and the one sour note for Wigan was the injury to Cameron Phelps who was forced off with an ankle problem mid-way through the second-half.
"We had a great start, but it took us some time to break them down," O'Laughlin said. "We stuck at it and defended well. We are on our own patch and it was good to make a fast start."
Vince Mellars scored a hat-trick of tries as Crusaders claimed a 36-16 win at Salford.
Danny Tickle scored a try and kicked three goals as Hull FC ran out 14-6 victors over Huddersfield Giants.
Bradford Bulls suffered their second defeat of the season as Paul Wellens scored four tries for St Helens, who won 38-6.
A Will Sharp hat trick for Harlequins - who lost 58-0 to Warrington in their previous outing - at the Stoop helped the home side to a 16-4 victory against Catalans Dragons.
