Blues props Angus Ta'avao and Ofa Tu'ungafasi are nursing injuries after the team's Super Rugby victory over the Western Force at the weekend.

Ta'avao has stitches on a nose cut and Tu'ungafasi has a sore neck, but the Blues said both are available to play this week.

Outside back Charles Piutau is fully fit and expected to return to the team after straining a medial ligament against the Chiefs on May 9.

The Blues snapped a 13-game losing streak away from home and moved into play-off contention with their four-try, 40-14 win in Perth.

The Blues' play-off hopes will be decided in their two remaining regular season games, against the Crusaders in Christchurch on Saturday and the Chiefs at Eden Park the following weekend.
