Saracens have confirmed that they will return to Wembley this season for their Aviva Premiership clash with Leicester on September 15.

The 2010-11 champions will re-visit the traditional home of the England football team during a nomadic campaign that will also see them stage matches at their traditional Vicarage Road home in Watford, Stadium mk in Milton Keynes, Twickenham and their new Barnet Copthall Stadium that is due for completion next year.

In addition, they club plans to stage a "top Heineken Cup match at a central London venue in mid-December" while two other fixtures "will be played further afield at venues to be announced shortly".

Saracens' clash with the Tigers will be their ninth visit to the north London venue. Their most recent visit was in March for their Premiership clash with Quins when they attracted a world record club crowd of 83,761 fans.

The new Premiership season kicks off with the traditional London Double Header at Twickenham on September 1 where Saracens will tackle London Irish. Five homes matches are also scheduled for Vicarage Road while five will be staged at the Copthall Stadium - starting with the game against Exeter Chiefs on February 16. They will also play one 'home' match at Stadium mk against Northampton on December 30.

Saracens have also specifically excluded two games from their 14-match season ticket with reports suggesting they may attempt to stage those fixtures overseas. They had hoped to stage a Heineken Cup fixture against Biarritz at the Cape Town Stadium in South Africa last January but saw those plans scuppered after the Western Province Rugby Union ruled that any such fixture would have to take place at its traditional rugby home, Newlands.

"The players and coaches are really excited about an innovative match schedule that includes a number of spectacular and unique events on our way to Barnet, where everybody is looking forward to settling into our new home ground," said director of rugby Mark McCall.

In related news, fans of Harlequins and London Irish will also get the chance to experience seeing their team play in front of a large crowd when they go head-to-head at Twickenham on December 29.
