England wing David Strettle has become the latest high-profile signing for Guinness Premiership side Saracens.

Strettle, 26, has made the switch from long-time club Harlequins and will join Sarries at the beginning of the 2010-11 season.

The Watford-based club have been busy in the transfer market this season, having already secured the signatures of England internationals Richard Wigglesworth and Matt Stevens, Scotland back- row Kelly Brown and Tongan prop Soane Tonga'uiha.

"The final piece in our jigsaw for next season is a top class wing, and we are delighted to have signed David Strettle," director of rugby Brendan Venter. "He's exactly the kind of character who will thrive in our environment, and we are confident he will become a key player for Saracens, and England."

Strettle has won six caps for England but has been troubled by a series of injuries in recent seasons. He has not played a Test since England's 2008 summer tour to New Zealand.

"Everybody in rugby can see there is something special happening at Saracens, and I am looking forward to being part of it," he said.
