Antonio Felix da Costa will be the Red Bull and Toro Rosso reserve driver for the Chinese Grand Prix.

Both teams share a reserve driver in case of one of the race drivers being unable to participate in a session, with Sebastien Buemi usually fulfilling the role. However, with Buemi competing in the World Endurance Championship at Silverstone this weekend, a Red Bull spokesperson confirmed to ESPN: "Antonio is covering for Sebastien Buemi in China as third driver for Toro Rosso and Infiniti Red Bull Racing. "

Felix da Costa is another member of the Red Bull young driver programme and ended 2012 in impressive fashion with four World Series by Renault victories, leading to a fourth place finish in the final championship standings. That was despite missing the first five rounds while he took part in the GP3 series; a championship in which he finished third.

Although it's his first reserve role for the teams, Felix da Costa did drive for Red Bull during last year's Young Driver Test in Abu Dhabi.
