Daniil Kvyat says Red Bull is impressed with its two consecutive 100-plus lap days but thinks it is too early to predict the pecking order for the new season.

Kvyat completed an interrupted race simulation on Saturday as he racked up 111 laps, following on from the good work completed by team-mate Daniel Ricciardo on Friday. Red Bull struggled with Renault issues at Jerez but has seemingly turned a corner in Barcelona and Kvyat thinks a comparison to last season, when the team had a woeful winter, is encouraging.

"We learnt many good things!" Kvyat said. "Like that we can do many laps. We were pleased to see yesterday with Daniel and today with myself we did a lot of laps so it was very consistent running, very useful information for us. That's when at this stage last season was much tougher but of course everyone else is making steps forward. We are also making many, many laps and as many as we can make the more useful it can be for us in the future."

Despite his positive feeling about the day's test Kvyat does not want to get ahead of himself and make predictions about the pecking order in 2015.

"It's really early to make these kind of predictions. Even though it's getting closer and closer to Australia it's still early days and no-one really knows where they are, except maybe some teams! We are doing our job, we have many people in the team and all of them are doing their best - including myself - and we are trying to get ourselves in the best place we can."
