Hardaker hit by Rhinos fine
Zak Hardaker has been fined by Leeds Rhinos after he "acted unprofessionally" in the lead up to his withdrawal from England World Cup squad.
The full-back, 22, left the squad on Monday because of "personal issues", but having spoken to the England management, Rhinos have issued Hardaker with a written warning and £2,500 fine.
"We believe Zak acted unprofessionally and in doing so breached the Leeds Rhinos Player Code of Conduct," a club statement read.
"We are satisfied the matter has now been dealt with and Zak will report for training [with Leeds] on 25th November.
"We will continue to monitor Zak's future conduct and help him deal with his own issues; which are more to do with a lack of professionalism than anything else."
