Adam Jones ruled out for Wales

Wales have suffered another major injury blow prior to the Six Nations, with tight-head Adam Jones set to miss the tournament with an elbow injury.
The Ospreys prop was injured in the first-half of the region's Heineken Cup loss to London Irish last weekend and scans have confirmed ligament damage and a lay-off of eight weeks.
Wales have already lost Jones' British & Irish Lions team-mate Gethin Jenkins for the tournament following toe surgery, leaving them exposed up front in the build-up to their pivotal clash with England at the Millennium Stadium on February 4.
Paul James, while primarily a loose-head, filled in for Jones in 2009 while he recuperated from a dislocated shoulder suffered in the Lions' second Test loss to South Africa earlier that year and could be called on again given the paucity of options available to the coaching staff.
"The scans have confirmed our suspicion of significant ligament damage and soft tissue trauma to the left elbow," Ospreys physio Chris Towers said. "We've discussed the case at length, both with orthopaedic specialists and the WRU medical team, and expect that Adam is likely to be out for around eight weeks."
Wales have also suffered heavily with injuries to their midfield contingent, with squad regulars Tom Shanklin and Andrew Bishop joined on the sidelines by Saracens' Gavin Henson.
