Scotland boss Andy Robinson has made just one change to his side as they seek a series win over Argentina in Mar del Plata on Saturday.

Ulster wing Simon Danielli is recalled in the wake of last weekend's 24-16 victory in Tucuman, meaning a move to the No.14 jersey for Sean Lamont. Max Evans returns to outside-centre in place of Nick De Luca as a result. Dan Parks kicked all of Scotland's points last time out and is again paired with Gloucester's Rory Lawson at halfback. On the bench, De Luca takes the place of Jim Thompson while Alasdair Dickinson's return to fitness means no place in the 22 for Geoff Cross.

"It's a new game on Saturday," Robinson said. "The scoreboard starts at 0-0 and the Pumas await. I've brought in Simon Danielli and moved Max Evans to his normal centre spot, which he plays for Glasgow, having looked at the way we want to attack Argentina in the outside channels.

"Simon runs hard, is pretty direct and I've been impressed by his form for Ulster in the Magners League, where he has been a regular try scorer. Both Max and Nick De Luca did well in the first Test.

"I felt Max made a number of line-breaks and looked pretty dangerous throughout and it was for him to start because of that. Selection was a tough call for a number of players and, as management, we've expressed our admiration for the commitment of the entire squad to securing a win on Saturday."

Argentina head coach Santiago Phelan has made two changes to his starting XV for the clash as they look to avoid a rare series defeat.

Phelan has drafted in scrum-half Agustin Figuerola for Alfredo Lalanne, while Lucas Gonzalez Amorosino gets the nod on the left wing ahead of Lucas Borges, who drops to the bench. Santiago Guzman and Rafael Carballo will be among the replacements with Mariano Galarza and Ignacio Mieres dropping out, while Nicolas Vergallo will be the replacement scrum-half.

Stade Francais prop Rodrigo Roncero believes the Pumas have much to improve on from the performance last Saturday. "You cannot play rugby if you give away as many penalties as we gave last Saturday, but we have what it takes to correct it," he said. "We scored two tries and that's a good thing. We controlled the ball and, despite penalties, Scotland never got into our try line."

Roncero hopes to deny Scotland their first ever series win in the Southern hemisphere, saying: "We must win everytime we wear the Argentina shirt. We are not forced to win this weekend just because we lost last Saturday, but it is important to recover confidence."
