The 2012 Super Rugby semi-finals dates and times have been confirmed ahead of next weekend's showdowns.

The Stormers took the overall competition with the Chiefs finishing in second and so both of them received byes for the semi-finals. With the Crusaders (4th) hosting the Bulls (5th) this weekend and the Reds (3rd) playing the Sharks (6th), the Stormers will play the lowest ranked side that progresses to the semi-finals. So if the Reds lose, then the Stormers will play the Sharks but if the Reds win then the Stormers will play either the Crusaders or the Bulls.

Semi-Final 1:
Chiefs v highest ranked Super Rugby Qualifier winner
Date: Friday, July 27
Venue: Waikato Stadium, Hamilton
Kick-off: (19.35 local, 08.35 BST)

Semi-Final 2:
Stormers v lowest ranked Super Rugby Qualifier winner
Date: Saturday, July 28
Venue: Newlands Stadium, Cape Town
Kick-off: (17.05 local, 16.05 BST)
