Tongans delayed by passport problems

An administrative bungle in the Tongan rugby Union offices will delay the side's arrival in Vancouver for Saturday's Epson cup opener until Thursday evening.

The side was due to jet into Canada on Tuesday but a strike amongst administrative staff delayed their visa applications and has left them with no choice than to arrive less than 48 hours from the kick off.

The IRB will have to sanction the late arrival as their regulations state that Epson Cup teams should arrive at least three days before away games
