Djokovic to make Abu Dhabi debut

Novak Djokovic will sign off for the year in Abu Dhabi after confirming he will make his debut at the Mubadala World Tennis Championship.
The world No. 1 will join defending champion Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer in the winner-takes-all event which sees the champion take home a cheque for $250,000.
Not part of the ATP Tour, the tournament sees the top two players receive a bye, with the remaining four playing a preliminary knock-out match for a place in the semi-finals. World No. 4 Federer has confirmed his participation alongside French duo Gael Monfils and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, while David Ferrer completes the six-man field.
"Having seen the strength of the field, I'm already looking forward to a serious test and defending my title," Nadal said. "I know I'll need to be at my best, so it's exactly the preparation I need ahead of the Australian Open."
British No. 1 Andy Murray will not play in Abu Dhabi, but won the inaugural tournament in 2009.
