Great Britain Davis Cup team returns to the Braehead

Great Britain's first tie upon their return to the Davis Cup Europe/Africa Zone Group I will be played at Glasgow's Braehead Arena.
Britain recently secured promotion back to Group I with victories over Luxembourg and Hungary - both played at the Braehead. Now Slovakia will bid to succeed where others have failed.
Handed the advantage of a home draw, Leon Smith's side do their best work on indoor hard courts, and few in Britain offer a better atmosphere than the Braehead. Smith will now hope that Andy Murray is tempted by the chance of playing on home soil once again.
"We're really looking forward to returning to Glasgow as we know from previous experience that Braehead provides a great venue with a really supportive atmosphere," Smith said.
"Next year will be a real step up in terms of the level of competition so it will make the home advantage all the more important. Slovak Republic will be tough to beat but, if we get a full house behind us again, there's no reason why we can't get off to a winning start."
The winners of the tie, which takes place from February 10-12, will face Belgium in July, with a place in the World Group play-offs awaiting the victors.
