British rivals Tim Henman and Greg Rusedski will go head-to-head for the first time since their retirement at the AEGON Masters Tennis event in London.

Former world No. 4 Henman has been drawn to face the 1997 US Open finalist in the round-robin stages of the ATP Champions Tour event at the Royal Albert Hall.

It will be the pair's first meeting since the 2006 US Open, the eighth victory for Henman in ten career meetings.

"Tim and I shared a great rivalry throughout our careers and it will be really special to play each other in Britain for the first time in such a long time," Rusedski said. "The Royal Albert Hall is an incredible place in which to play, and I am looking forward to it a lot."

"It helped both Greg and I in our careers to have each other there and it's a shame that we didn't have a chance to play each other more in Britain," Henman added. "We never played each other at Queen's or Wimbledon, so it's great to be able to do so at the Royal Albert Hall. Hopefully the crowds will come out in numbers and will enjoy it as much as we will."

Should Henman successfully navigate his way out of his group, which also features Younes El Aynaoui, the former British No. 1 could be set for a rematch with former Wimbledon champion Goran Ivanisevic, who denied the Brit a place in the final at the All England Club in 2001. Mark Philippoussis and Thomas Enqvist complete the six-man field.
