Murray bounces back with doubles victory
Andy Murray put the disappointment of his second-round singles exit behind him at the BNP Paribas Open, claiming a thrilling win in the doubles alongside brother Jamie.
The duo battled back after losing the first set to record a stunning 3-6 6-2 13-11 triumph over fellow Brits Colin Fleming and Ross Hutchins. Murray sealed the first-round win with a stinging forehand winner after Fleming and Hutchins failed to capitalise on two match points earlier in the third set.
In a tightly contest match, both pairs had their serve broken just twice as the four Britons slugged it out over 90 minutes.
The Murray brothers will tackle Max Mirnyi and Daniel Nestor in the second round after they proved too strong for Nicholas Almagro and Mark Knowles.
