Murray looking to rediscover magic in Monte Carlo

Andy Murray will be looking to rediscover his form at the Monte Carlo Masters this week as he begins his European clay-court campaign.
The British No. 1 was handed a wildcard for the event after a late entry and could meet Rafael Nadal in the semi-finals after being seeded third for the event which begins on Monday. He has been given a bye into the second round, where he will meet either Thomaz Bellucci or Phillipp Kohlschreiber.
Murray lost to Nadal in the semi-finals in Monte Carlo last year on the back of a final appearance in Indian Wells and victory in Miami. But he has failed to emulate the form that saw him reach the final of the Australian Open in January, with just four victories in seven matches.
Murray admittted he was far from his best as he crashed out at the hands of Mardy Fish at the second round in Miami, and the British No. 1 will look for a successful clay-court season to stop him sliding down the rankings and to boost his confidence ahead of the grass-court season and Wimbledon.
