Querrey to meet Chela in Houston final

Sam Querrey overcame a wobbled to book his place in the final of the US Men's Clay Court Championship in Houston with a 7-6(3) 1-6 7-5 victory over fellow American Wayne Odesnik.

Querrey looked to be heading for defeat after Odesnik took the second set 6-1 and broke Querrey to go 3-2 up on serve in the deciding set, but Querrey broke straight back and broke once more to seal the victory, closing out the match with an overhead slam.

Querrey will meet Juan Ignacio Chela in the final after the beat fellow Argentine Horacio Zeballos 7-5 6-2.

Meanwhile, Stanislas Wawrinka will meet Victor Hanescu in the final of the Grand Prix Hassan II in Morocco.

Top seed Wawrinka with a 6-4 3-6 6-4 victory Potito Starace, while Hanescu saw off the eighth seed Florent Serra 6-4 6-1.
