Laura Robson is seeking specialist medical help to get over a recurring chest infection that has affected her for the past six months.

The 19-year-old world No. 43 lost in the first round of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, missing out on a second round showdown with Agnieszka Radwanska after going down in three sets to Yulia Putintseva.

Robson refused to blame her ongoing health problems for the 6-4 2-6 7-6(6) defeat by the 18-year-old world No. 101.

"It's just something that I'm living with," Robson told the Independent . "I'm seeing a specialist when I get home and we will make another decision then.

"It was on and off since the Olympics," she added. "Now it's worse."

Robson's next scheduled tournament is the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, which begins on March 6.
