Robson gets Wimbledon wildcard, Bogdanovic snubbed

Laura Robson will compete at Wimbledon for the second successive year after being granted a wildcard, but British No.2 Alex Bogdanovic has received a snub from the tournament organisers.
Robson was handed the opportunity to parade her talents at SW19 - where she lost in the first round to Daniela Hantuchova last year - after she claimed her first win on the WTA Tour on Monday, defeating Stefanie Voegele at the AEGON Classic.
The 16-year-old will be joined in the draw by three of her fellow Brits - Heather Watson, who is the reigning US Open girls' champion, Katie O'Brien and Melanie South - after they too were handed wildcards.
No such luck for world No. 166 Bogdanovic, however, who has gone out in the first round on each of his previous eight visits to Wimbledon. Jamie Baker, ranked nearly 100 places below Bogdanovic, has been handed a wildcard - despite a disappointing first-round exit at Queen's on Monday.
