World No. 1 Rafael Nadal admits he will struggle to cap off the year with victory in London next week.

Nadal lines up with the world's top eight players at the ATP World Tour Finals at the O2 Arena, where he will face Novak Djokovic, Tomas Berdych and Andy Roddick in the group stages.

Regardless of the result in London, Nadal is guaranteed to end the year as world No. 1 after a superb season featuring seven titles, including three grand slams.

However, Nadal failed to win a single match at the O2 last year, and although the Spaniard is keen to end the year on a high, he insists he has put no pressure on himself.

"This tournament is a more difficult one for me because of the surface, because of the opponents," Nadal told Sky Sports News. "It will be a big challenge and it will be very difficult but I will try my best. If it happens the same as last year my year is still fantastic so that's less pressure for me."

Like Nadal, Andy Murray failed to reach the semi-finals last year, despite winning two of his three round-robin matches.

"I enjoyed it last year, I played well," Murray said. "It's just that the results didn't quite turn my way, but the field here this year is excellent it's a great place and I'm just hoping I can play well and put on a good show."
