Andy Murray will meet Roger Federer in the group stages of the ATP World Tour Finals in London.

The British No. 1 has been draw in Group B alongside Federer, Robin Soderling and David Ferrer.

The year-end event, featuring the men's top eight players, starts in a round-robin format on Sunday at London's O2 Arena.

Each player will play three group matches, with the top two players from each group progressing to the semi-finals. Murray won two of his three matches last year but failed to reach the last four.

Murray admitted he would prefer to avoid world No. 1 Nadal in the group stages, and his wish has been granted as the Spaniard is in Group A, along with Novak Djokovic, Tomas Berdych and Andy Roddick.
