Andy Murray is set to team up with his Australian Open conqueror Novak Djokovic in the doubles.

Djokovic and Murray have struck up a friendship and have been toying with the idea of playing doubles at some stage.

The Serb is riding the crest of a wave after beating Murray in straight sets to win the Australian Open and he has not spoken to the man he beat so conclusively since the final. But when the dust settles, Djokovic will float the idea of playing together at Indian Wells in March.

"We have talked about it," Djokovic said. "At some stage we have talked about Indian Wells in a month and a half.

"If he is able to do it, we are going to play together."
