Murray reveals short-term training plans

Andy Murray has confirmed that he is unlikely to appoint a full-time coach until after the French Open.

Murray severed ties with consultant Alex Corretja last week but has been without a full-time trainer since splitting with Miles Maclagan last July.

The British No. 1 has struggled since reaching the Australian Open final in January, but in a bid to rediscover his form he has confirmed he will link up with Andre Agassi's former coach Darren Cahill and Greg Rusedski's ex-coach Sven Groeneveld on a temporary basis.

Although he admits it is not the ideal scenario, he is adamant he will not rush into any decision.

"I haven't made a decision yet on that I think right now," Murray said. "Before the French Open I will work with the Adidas player development team - they are going to be in Rome, they will be in Madrid and they will be there the week before the French Open in Paris.

"They are guys who have a lot of experience and I'm sure can help me in the short term. It's not the perfect solution to what I'm looking for but it takes a bit of time to get the right coach in place."
