Caroline Wozniacki expects Andy Murray to get his season back on track under the tutelage of Australian coach Darren Cahill.

After splitting with part-time consultant Alex Corretja last month, Murray will turn to Cahill and Sven Groeneveld for assistance during his clay-court season, which begins on Wednesday against Radek Stepanek in Monte Carlo.

Murray is taking advantage of his relationship with Adidas, who offer the consultancy services of Cahill and Groeneveld to anyone who endorses the company's clothes. However, if he comes up against another player who wears the brand, he will not be able to lean on the duo's advice - or have them in his guest box on-court.

The British No. 1, who has not won a match since January 28, has been without a permanent trainer since he split from Miles Maclagan after last year's Wimbledon tournament, where he reached the semi-finals.

Cahill is thought to be unwilling to agree to a full-time link-up with Murray due to his young family and existing commitments with Adidas - but Wozniacki insists that any arrangement, no matter how brief, will be of benefit to the Scot.

"They're going to try and give him a few inputs that maybe can make a big difference in his game," Wozniacki said. "Darren and Sven have been on the tour for a long time so they have the experience. They have to get to know the player a little bit first.

"For me, Darren is great. He's a very positive person, and he can help especially with the serve and volleys, as he was good with that himself. He is very good at helping with both technique and tactics."

Cahill has previously worked with Andre Agassi and Lleyton Hewitt, while Groeneveld teamed up with Greg Rusedski, Michael Stich and Monica Seles.
