Clijsters on target for French Open

Kim Clijsters remains on track to return to action at the French Open as she continues her recovery from an ankle injury.
The world No. 2 has been out of action after damaging her ankle at her cousin's wedding, sustaining "a severe strain of both the medial and lateral ligaments of the right ankle and torn ligaments, a torn capsule of the ankle joint, a hematoma and torn tendon sheath" and is expected to miss six weeks of the season.

"Kim is able to walk about without crutches, She needs some four to six weeks to complete her recovery. We are perfectly on track," Sam Verslegers told Het Nieuwsblad newspaper.
"If Kim can get back into training in four weeks, she would have two weeks in which to get ready for Roland Garros. But we are not there yet."
Verslegers also revealed thatt Clijsters is recovering well from shoulder and wrist injuries that hampered her during the Sony Ericsson Open in Miami.
