Djokovic powers on as Soderling tumbles out

Novak Djokovic maintained his aura of invincibility by storming into the semi-final of the Serbia Open in Belgrade.
Home favourite Djokovic, who is yet to taste defeat in 2011, needed 85 minutes to defeat Slovenia's Blaz Kavcic 6-3 6-2.
There are doubts as to whether Djokovic will be able to get the better of King of Clay Rafael Nadal in the next six weeks, but he looked at home on the red dust as he snatched four breaks, three of which came in the second set.
Djokovic will now play Janko Tipsarevic, who beat Somdev Devvarman 6-3 3-6 6-4. In the other semi, Feliciano Lopez will take on Filippo Volandri.
Meanwhile at the Estoril Open, Juan Martin del Potro triumphed 6-4 7-5 in a rain-disrupted clash with Robin Soderling.
Del Potro upset Soderling in Miami last month, and in a mouthwatering clash worthy of the final the Argentine took the opening set. After a gruelling start of big serves and powerful baseline rallies there was nothing to separate the pair, but a lapse of concentration from Soderling saw Del Potro grab his chance to snatch the break before holding on for the set.
The two-time French Open finalist set about levelling the tie, and an early break put him on the brink of taking the match to a deciding set. However, with the scores poised at 6-4 1-4, the rain set in and the players were forced off the court.
Despite the inauspicious circumstances at resumption, Del Potro turned the second set on its head, winning six of the seven games contested after the break to set up a clash with Pablo Cuevas, who shocked Thomaz Bellucci.
At the BMW Open in Munich, Philipp Petzschner will meet Florian Mayer in an all-German semi-final following their respective quarter-final victories.
To the delight of the German crowd, Petzschner edged past Italy's Potito Starace 7-6(3) 7-6(6), while Mayer brought teenager Grigor Dimitrov's impressive run to an end with a 7-6(4) 3-6 6-6 victory.
It could have been three Germans in the last four, but Philipp Kohlschreiber was denied a semi-final spot by Radek Stepanek 6-4 6-0. Stepanek now awaits Nikolay Davydenko, who beat Marin Cilic 7-5 6-3.
