Toro Rosso has confirmed its 2015 car has passed all its crash tests ahead of its launch and first test in Jerez.

The STR10 will carry the hopes of rookies Max Verstappen and Carlos Sainz this season and is expected to be launched on the eve of the first pre-season test in Jerez on January 31. All cars have to pass mandatory crash test before they are allowed to test and race, and the team tweeted to confirm the STR10 was one step closer to running.

The Toro Rosso is one of just two confirmed Renault-powered cars on the grid this year alongside sister team Red Bull.
