Ortiz won't retire after devastating loss to Rashad

Tito Ortiz insisted he will not retire after suffering defeat to Rashad Evans at UFC 133, despite taking his recent record to one win in six fights.
Ortiz admitted prior to his victory over Ryan Bader that he had to beg the UFC for one last chance, which he took when submitting the TUF winner. The celebration of Ortiz that night showed what the fight game still means to him, having once been the most dominant 205lb champion in the UFC's history.
The Huntington Beach Bad Boy suffered badly against Evans though, who stopped Ortiz via second round TKO. Ortiz had his moments, primarily with a guillotine choke, but it was largely a one-sided encounter.
In defence of the veteran, he fought Evans only 35 days after beating Bader, taking the fight on two weeks' notice, and he is adamant he will be in better form when he returns to the Octagon.
"I take my hat off to Rashad, good luck getting that title - you're one of the best in the world," said Ortiz.
"Taking this fight on two weeks' notice, I did this for the UFC, I didn't care about my fight against Bader. Rashad beat me at my best, I put my ass on the line, I fought my ass off but Rashad was the better man.
"I'll be back."
