Cantwell v Massenzio bolsters stacked UFC 136 card

The UFC has added another bout to UFC 136, with Steve Cantwell set to fight Mike Massenzio.

The bout was officially confirmed on Monday, adding to an already stacked October 1 card.

Cantwell's future is surely on the line after losing his last three against Luiz Cane, Brian Stann and Cyrille Diabate. However, this will be his debut in the middleweight division.

Massenzio finds himself in a similar rut, having lost his last three in the UFC, and he returns to 185lbs after losing to Krzysztof Soszynski last time out.

UFC 136 is headlined by Frankie Edgar's lightweight title defence against Gray Maynard. The card also boasts a featherweight championship bout between Jose Aldo and Kenny Florian.
