Hardy v Lytle to be shown on UFC.tv this weekend

British MMA fans will be able to view UFC Live 5 this weekend, after it was confirmed the event would be free to view on the official UFC website.

Dan Hardy features in the main event against Chris Lytle, in a bout that could determine whether the British welterweight still has a UFC future. Also on the card, Jim Miller takes on Ben Henderson while Charles Oliveira meets Donald Cerrone.

An ESPN spokesperson confirmed: "Over the past two years, ESPN has shown UFC main events, preliminary bouts and other content for our viewers. We have recently been informed that we are not able to continue to show some live UFC content on our channel.

"Due to this, the Hardy v Lytle will be shown online at UFC.TV on Sunday the 14th at 2am.

"In the UK and Ireland ESPN continues to televise UFC main events (Next up: UFC 134: Silva v Okami - Sat. August 27th at 2am BST) and provides coverage of UFC and mixed martial arts online at ESPN.co.uk and ESPN.com, and on TV via MMA Live, UFC Countdown, UFC All Access and UFC Unleashed."
