Rua on brink of title shot - White

Mauricio 'Shogun' Rua has been handed a huge boost ahead of his clash with Forest Griffin at UFC 134 by being told he is "probably" two fights away from a title shot.
Rua lost the light-heavyweight belt to Jon Jones in March, but he is held in high regard by UFC president Dana White who expects him to be back in the title mix shortly.
"There is no doubt that Shogun is one of the best in the world," White told Fighters Only Magazine. "He is probably two fights away from being considered again."
Griffin will pose a stern test for Rua on August 27, having beaten him in 2007, and White is aware that reputations count for nothing if you cannot deliver.
"You've got to see how the fights go, there's a lot of factors that come into play," White said.
