Fearful Forrest moans about UFC 134

Forrest Griffin is not in a good mood ahead of his UFC 134 co-main event against Mauricio Shogun Rua, claiming Brazil is "not a great place to work".

Griffin has readily expressed his concerns with travelling to Brazil, pointing out that the long flight will play havoc with his weight cut. The former light-heavyweight champion also raised doubts over transferring the necessary fluids and food to South America.

Having now arrived in Rio, Griffin is equally unhappy, revealing he has no idea what he's doing ahead of his rematch with Shogun.

"It'd be a great place to come on vacation. Not a great place to work," Griffin told MMA Fighting.

"I can't read the labels on the food. I don't know what's going on. I can't get anybody to cook my sweet potatoes. The scale tells me weird numbers, I don't know what the f**k they are. I've got to do math every time I get on the scale. You guys don't have distilled water... Do you want me to keep bitchin'? Because I will."

Griffin also admits he has lived in fear throughout his training camp, courtesy of the fact he knows how desperately Shogun will want to avenge his previous loss to the TUF 1 winner.

"I know one thing: when people beat me up I want to fight them again," Griffin said. "You train hard and you take it real serious when someone beats you. I had that fear in the back of my head for the last nine weeks, so I did the best I could. I knew he was going to come out hungry and ready. I'm kind of expecting him to just close the distance and come at it and get going."
