Changes made to UFC 138 and 136 cards

The UFC announced two changes to forthcoming events on Wednesday, most notably at UFC 138 where James Head has been replaced by Justin Edwards.
Head was set to take on John Maguire, who himself had been a stand-in for Mark Scanlon. However, Head has also been sidelined by injury, making Maguire v Edwards the new match-up for the November 5 event.
Edwards, who was the mini-Randy Couture lookalike on TUF 13, has won seven of eight MMA bouts. UFC 138 is headlined by Chris Leben v Mark Munoz.
Elsewhere, the UFC 136 card has been handed a late change after Dave Herman had to pull out of a clash with Mike Russow. At this late stage, it is unclear if a new bout will be added to the card.
Leonard Garcia's rematch with Nam Phan will be promoted to the main card as result. UFC 136 is arguably the most stacked card of the year, with Edgar v Maynard, Aldo v Florian, Sonnen v Stann, Maia v Santiago, Pettis v Stephens and Guillard v Lauzon all on the same card.
