Condit saw St-Pierre's withdrawal in a dream

Carlos Condit has revealed to ESPN that he dreamt about Georges St-Pierre's UFC 137 withdrawal just days before it actually happened.

Condit always walks with an eerie quietness, very rarely losing his cool even in the face of much aggravation. Dan Hardy went out of his way to disturb the last-reigning WEC welterweight champion ahead of their collision at UFC 120, but Condit let it all brush over him.

A man of few words, Condit must remain in the shadows a little longer after St-Pierre pulled out of their October 29 title bout with a knee problem. And, somewhat spookily, Condit admits he saw it coming.

"The weird thing is I had a dream the other night that Georges was out," Condit told ESPN. "It just came to mind. That is so weird, man.

"I dreamed I was at the event and Georges couldn't fight for some reason and they were changing my opponent to [Nick] Diaz or BJ [Penn].

"In real life, when I heard Georges pulled out, I was like, 'Are they going to put a last-minute opponent in?' That thought came pretty quick."

The UFC's answer has been to pull Condit and have him wait for St-Pierre's return. A two-month absence is predicted, making January or February the likely months for a rescheduled bout.
