Anderson Silva beats Jon Jones - Rashad Evans

Rashad Evans has offered his opinion on who would win a potential superfight between Jon Jones and Anderson Silva, insisting the Brazilian is technically the superior fighter.
Silva, the UFC middleweight champion, has never lost in the UFC and is widely considered to be the greatest pound-for-pounder in the sport. Jones, the light-heavyweight king, is providing an increasingly forceful challenge to that status, having destroyed Mauricio Shogun Rua and Rampage Jackson this year.
Evans expects to fight Jones in the near future, having twice been paired with the youngster only for injuries to prevent the bout on both occasions. However, as a part-time analyst for ESPN's MMA Live, Evans believes it is Silva's striking that would make the difference.
"Honestly, I think... I would say Anderson would win," Evans said in a recent Q&A. "I think he would catch Jon standing up because I think Jon does a lot of crazy stuff but, fundamentally, sometimes he does it just to do it.
"But I think Anderson has a reason. Anderson, fundamentally and technically, is better in that respect and I think he would catch [Jones] doing something stupid.
"If the fight was to go a little bit longer and Jon used his wrestling then I think the fight may go to Jon. But for the most part, early on in the fight, Anderson would catch Jon trying to do something crazy."
