Munoz on Bisping

Mark Munoz has confessed he would jump at the chance of fighting Michael Bisping in his next bout, should the UFC wish to create the matchup.

Munoz was outstanding at UFC 138, producing what he labelled "probably my best UFC performance" to force Chris Leben to quit after two rounds of action.

The middleweight is now 4-0 in his last four fights, a record Bisping can match if he beats Jason Miller in December. Adding extra spice to that collision is the fact Miller trains with Munoz.

Victory for Bisping would arguably lift him onto a level platform as Munoz in the middleweight division and, given the fact Munoz could claim revenge for a potential Miller loss, the Filipino Wrecking Machine admits the fight is tempting.

"I could see that fight, Michael Bisping is a guy who has proven himself in this sport. He's a great mixed martial artist," Munoz told ESPN.

"I'd love to fight him, it'd be an honour to fight him just like it was an honour to fight Chris Leben.

"For me, I just want to improve every time, I trust in my team, and it's a testament [to my team-mates] of how I am in the cage. I'm ready man, whoever they bring I'm ready."

Asked if he would fight Bisping in England, Munoz replied: "I'd love to fight again over here. They booed me man. I thought I gave them a show!"
