UFC president Dana White has announced a crowd-pleasing move ahead of Saturday's heavyweight title collision between Cain Velasquez and Junior Dos Santos, bringing back Octagon girl Brittney Palmer.

White is currently promoting the "biggest fight in the history of the UFC", as Velasquez and Dos Santos prepare to stand toe-to-toe in the UFC's debut on Fox.

However, the president always has several plates on the spin on any one occasion, and he found time to let fans know that Palmer would be returning after a brief departure from the promotion.

"Should we bring back @BrittneyPalmer? Vote now and let me know!!!!" White tweeted.

He later wrote: "Done!!!! The votes have been counted and @BrittneyPalmer is back!"

Palmer had briefly pursued an art career, but she will re-unite with Arianny Celeste and Chandella Powell for the foreseeable future.
